Lol, I see "Installing a Thermaltake 3.0 Ultimate" in the recent topics feed. Then "I sratched my motherboard" five topics later :D

Anyway you should be fine. Did you actually try booting the PC before asking for help?

If it blows up it'll be ok. The Maximus VII heroes generally are packed with dew and doritos. So it'l be fine either way.

Is that serious or not? I can't exactly tell. I do like to help as much as possible. The funny thing is, I've only been building PCs for a couple months xD

I'm going to get so much hate for this. oh well. Glad I could help you. What are your CPU temps? are they less than what they used to be? Is your PC quieter now?

People always get nervous when pulling apart and building computers.

Like SERIOUSLY a motherboard can withstand some scratches. Jeez. When I opened up my family's pc me and my Dad were tugging away at the stock cooler, not even caring if the motherboard would be ok :D We probably would've been more careful if we knew what we were doing :P

If the pc is working, it will probably be fine. There is a small space around the screw holes where there aren't any tracers, and small surface scuffs usually don't end up damaging the top layer tracers anyways...

Good! You shouldn't have to turn it up. Only when you eventually overclock your CPU and wreck all the CS:GO skrubs with a sexy 4.9Ghz overclock. at 1.666V.
