Corrupt windows 7 files

When I launch my laptop, I get three options, and then I press start nomally, and it says put in windows 7 CD and press reapir. Uh, you should be able to go into safe mode without the disc.. all it does is reduce your system to using low resolution and usage of system resources. I would suggest retrieving a Windows 7 .iso and making a bootable flashdrive to access other recovery options.
