Have you people forgotten that the last good GTA port was vice city.

Gta san andreas was crap and it still runs very poorly , It was a hog for hardware at the time .

Gta IV , well no comments.

So We haven't had a decent GTA PC port for OVER A DECADE.

Keep that in mind before pressing that pre order button.
I mean I hope I am wrong but I will believe when I see it.

I would like to believe that Rockstar has learned from their mistake with GTA IV because of all the time they've pushed V back to not let the same thing happen twice.

I am just tired of the GTA V hype train on this forum and dont want people getting burned like in watch dogs.

San Andreas was O.K, much better than GTA IV. I have high hopes. Key word hopes.

I've never preordered a game and never will. I don't want to be disappointed so I will never preorder something then discover it is crap. Let the reviews come out, see what bugs there are and let it get fixed first. Plus I've already played GTA V on the PS3, so I'm not in a mad rush, I'd rather let the modders get hold of it first.

I preordered and I don't care. My thought is, pc gamer has confirmed playing it with 2 GTX 980s in SLI in 4K. If you can use those cards and get 60 fps, it will run fine at other resolutions. Plus, what does everybody have against preorders? If you're going to buy the game anyways, does it matter? Optimization or not.

The point to my comment was the it sounds like you're against those that have preordered the game without looking back at the past of GTA PC releases. And the problem with Watch_Dogs was that it wasn't just the graphics being dumbed down for the PC, the game itself was a huge let down from all the hype. GTA V has been out for over a year now on the consoles and it's a good game, when it comes to gameplay. The hype train is ridiculous though, I shall give you that. 

 

However, I don't think that preordering should be a subjective thing as it's actually quite a serious issue when it comes to developers being able to rely on preorders to make money on a game they either haven't finished or haven't released. Though, agreed, this topic is for another time. :P
