Help with Airflow

Go to solution Solved by Toxicable,

I want to know what would be the best airflow setup, in my case, at the moment I have

  • TOP = 2x 140mm Noctua IndustrialPPC 3000rpm PWM (Intake)
  • FRONT = 2x 120mm Bitfenix Stock (Intake)
  • BACK = 1x 120mm Noctua IndustrialPPC 3000rpm PWM (outtake)
  • And I have a NH-D15 configured with one fan (could not fit the second in my case) to blow out the back

I would like to know the optimal airflow and whether I should have stuck with 2000rpm fans.

My case is the Mid-tower Bitfenix Shinobi Windowed

As for the rest of my specs, they are below

Intake at the front/bot or side, exhaust at the top/back.

Hot air moves up, therefore having a intake at the top is ineffective.

The industrial fans are kind of loud.
