Chrome on mac is SLOW

Does anybody know why chrome is so slow on my mac? (lol its cuz its a mac). Safari is fine, and my internet speeds are awesome (screenshot below), so it just doesn't make sense. Does anybody else have this issue?

My system: Macbook Pro retina, Late 2013, i5 8gb RAM

I hope someone as a fix, because safari is boring.

Check your RAM usage. Also, make sure that you don't have like 10+ extensions running.

My ram gets low a lot, but never REALLY low. lemme disable some extensions. I think that might work (i have a lot of extensions.

Safari is way faster than Chrome, and exceptionally lighweight and well-optimized.

Just see those JS benchmarks ;_;

I like how its a lot more lightweight, but chrome is nice because it syncs flawlessly across computers

So does safari, if you have Apple devices :P

I'd say use Firefox instead of chrome, as it also syncs and is way better. It's what I use on Windows.
