Pc shutting down randomly

Hello, i had a problem with my pc,it was shutting down at random times ,i got 2 blue screens ,and it would turn on for a second then turn back off(fans start to spin for that interval)

I asked for help and was told that my psu was the problem so i got a new psu (corsair cx 600w 80 plus bronze)

It worked fine for a week,but last day i started to get random shutdowns while i was idle or watching youtube,scanning,or playing games,i got random shutdowns no matter what i did.

The strange this is that,when i tried to turn the pc on it did the same one second turn on then turn off,but if i left the pc for 5 minutes and tried again it will boot up and work for a certain amount of time(usually from 10 to 30 mins max) then do the same thing,it randomly shut down.

I checked the cables,they were all plugged in fine,i reseated the ram stick.i moved it to another slot,nothing,all the fans are spinning properly,there is no dust either,so I am really confused,I dont know the cause of it.

At first i thought it may shut down due to overheating and i checked the bios for temps and on the cpu i was getting around 50C(i have and amd processor,i will list below my specs) and the mobo was reaching around 30-32C,i asked all my friends who have amd cpu and they told me that this is fine,Could it be that the thermal paste is failing and it needs replacement?

I also checked the event viewer to see if i can find something and i found these ( i have no idea why i got them):

-Kernel-Power 41 (63) error

Can it be my motherboard shorting,or the thermal paste?

Please help,i dont know what else to do

Specs:

-Amd athlon II x4 760k black edition

-asrock fm2a55m0vg3+

-radeon r7 250 1gb gddr5

-4 gb of ram(one stick),no radiator

-old power supply(floston fl 500)

-new power supply,I am currently using and bought last week(corsair cx 600 80 plus bronze)

if you need any other info just let me know

Thank you in advance.

Could be multiple problems. But the two most likely are either your cpu is overheating, either due to too much dust, thermal paste is bad, broken fan, etc... or a memory problem. I would try re-applying thermal paste cleaning out your system and making sure your fan works/ if you have another fan lying around, slap it in your case. If that doesnt work try and borrow someone else's working memory stick and see if thats the fix.

Reasons-

Heat

Dust

No Breathing Room

Memory DOA

HDD Failing

SSD Failing

PSU Failing

Bad Thermal Paste

Bad Motherboard

Driver Update Required

Bios Update Required

CPU Failing

GPU not Outputting video Properly

Also it could be that your not using noctua fans :P

Ok, so this is a PC that you've built from scratch, correct? You didn't migrate any software over from another build or anything? Or, you didn't upgrade anything piece by piece?

The error code that you've receiving is a problem with the system kernel. It is most likely corrupted. You can usually fix this by inserting the install CD and attempting to repair.

The 760k is good up until 72C and will usually throttle when you get there. It will only shut down in absolute emergency circumstances. (fan failure)

You should also attempt a disk check while in windows. Simply right click on your C:/ drive and choose properties / tools / error-checking / check now.   Because it's the C drive, you'll have to restart the PC, but i'll will perform the operation.

Thank you,i will first try do do a disk check on C since i got the kernel error,and if this will not work i will buy a thermal paste and reapply it to the cpu.

Thank you for responding

Do you have a game remote? If it has a poor connection just unplug it and see what happens

The system wasn't corrupt,i tested and left the pc in bios and after 5 mins it shut down,without me doing nothing.

Tomorrow i will go and buy a thermal paste,i cleaned the dust from my vents and coolers and still it shut down,if the thermal paste won't work i will borrow some ram memories from my friend and see what happens.

I also did the drive check and it did not fix anything.

Is there a way i can shorten the list? I cleaned the vents from the dust and it still did the same,i also left my pc in bios to see if it still shuts down and it does,i did a disk clean on C and nothing.I just bought the psu 1 week ago and its from corsair,can it already fail?

For once i may be usefull. I had this exact same problem which i have managed to fix today. I tried all other advice but in the end just opening up my case checking cables , unplugging and replugging seemed to work. My mobo cable was slightly loose was my problem hopefully i have been helpful.

Hi all, I got this annoying problem too, the system seem fine, can be ok for hours, or 10mins and just randomly power cuts off for 1second and then the system restart, the weird thing is my PC doesn't spit out any error as if nothing ever happened.

If I pull out the plug or it really was a power cut then my PC does spit out the normal error of at least "You computer did not shut down correctly..." ( I kinda done the test just too see)

Its not a restart as it does not close my apps and slowly powers down, its instant, so why wouldn't it spilt out the above error at least? anyone know?

Had the problem for about a month or two now its hard to say, as dont get as much computer time as I use to so some nights or days will only be on it for a few hours and its fine, no issues, then the next day can be on it for 10mins and like I say I get the above problem. Thought I might of solved it after I gave it a good clean out and added a extra fan, its a Fractal Design R3 case with 4 fans now, two at the front, two at the back. and did'nt get a problem for just over a week and its back again, I checked to see how much dirty it got in that time and it barley at all so I dont think its dust.

OS = windows 8.1

CPU = intel i7 4770K - 3.5Ghz (OC-3.8Ghz)

GFX = amd 7970 HD 3Gb

RAM = 16gb DDR3 1866Mhz

SSD = 256Gb Samsung 840 Pro -Os install

HD = 3TB

DRIVE = DVD / Blu Ray

SOUND = Creative X-Fi

MB = gigabyte z87 ud4h

PSU = Corsair AX760

any help would be helpful :)
