2nd hand home cinema speaker system, need help/advice

tomtom365

i am looking into buying a second hand home cinema speaker system, to upgrade from my standard tv speakers. my budget is £100 - 150. This is were you guy come in, i need help/advice on what i should look out in a system. i don't need to have any essential features like surrounds sounds but i would't mind if it did.

i have had a look at these speakers but i know i would need a receiver as well

Yes, you will need a receiver for those. There is nothing wrong buying second hand speakers as long as they are in tolerable cosmetic condition and more importantly, the tweeter/drivers are not blown and sound good. Always ask if you can listen to them when buying used.
