Bizarre Missing Wireless Networks on Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014

Coollok100

After being left for about a week unused, my brother's Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 seems to be unable to find either of his wireless networks, which is especially strange considering it can still pick up almost every other network in the surrounding area. Apparently he was having some issues with his routers earlier, but every other device in the house seems to be fine. I've tried restarting the device, clearing the list of remembered networks, clearing the cache, rebooting the tablet and entering the WiFi details manually, but nothing seems to make it work. I'm considering doing a factory reset, but as you can probably understand, this is far from an ideal solution.

I've included some screenshots from the tablet and my LG G3 (running CM12) for comparison. The two networks are virginmedia0142883 and bifrost2.
