What to do with my 240GB SSD

So for my new build i decided to go with an SSD. I was planning to use it as a boot drive and key applications but i would still have ~200GB left. What should i do with it? Is dedicating 30 or 60GB as a cache for the HDD a good idea or worth if from a performance standpoint?

I'd just put the games you play the most on it.

Plus space for whatever you download.

I'd put some games on it that would benefit from fast load times.

Id do 30gb for caching and then just do like dizmo said put what you use most on it.

Put all your most frequently played games in it

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

well the two main games are ~50GB so it wouldnt be the best of my safe and don't think they would really benefit

Well then I would put downloaded software on it.

 

I have all of my Steam games installed on my HDD and all of my software and general utilities on my SSD.

 

13GB free of 120GB on the SSD and 556GB of 1TB free on the HDD.

i just dont want to write too much at once and have it slow down in no time

what benefit of 30gb over 60gb? if so the reason id say 30gb instead of 60 is that it will leave more available for you to have free for anything else you might want to put on there. look on linus's youtube channel he has a tutorial of how to do it. it would be much easier to just follow a video tutorial rather than trying to decipher what i tell you in text. also just a tip its never good to fully fill a drive so thats another reason.

Mine's still plenty fast even though there's quite a bit of stuff on it, from what I've read you should leave ~10-15% free so it stays at peak performance.
