Do I have to play on a Korean server or something?

You Wait till release of the game and buy then or Buy a Beta+ full game Package on there website now.

He Bought the Game when it included ALPHA access.

But short story: Buy a package, in a package you should get the BETA and Full game +1 Ship. unless you bought one of the multi ship packages.

However, the Alpha access in the packages ended a while back, so if you want to play Arena Commander NOW, you have to spend 5$ Extra for that. SOME packages include that, just check the packages.
