Best single fan liquid CPU cooler? (around $60)

Dnoble24

Seems that in the winter,  with my houses heat blazing, my CPU really doesn't like it. I'm Thinking about finally switching to a liquid cooler, but i don't want to pay a ridiculous amount for a 15 degree difference. Any suggestions guys?

avoid cheap AIO's at the 60.00 price point you are better off with a air cooler

If you live in the U.S., Get a Cooler Master Seidon 240M. Its only $70, and is easily the best price:performance enthusiast class AIO.

Don't get a 120/140mm AIO for the CPU. Its a job half done and air tower coolers perform just as well for less.

Also avoid the H100i. It is not guaranteed to work out of the box without modifications. It also has a noisy pump and buggy software. For those that it works for out of the box, it works well, but there are far too many complaints about the H100i for me to recommend it, especially in the U.S. when the Seidon 240M performs the same and is less expensive.

faceman, ive read 5 threads and you post the EXACT. SAME. THING whenever someone mentions the H100i. Do you have a word doc with thay pasted on there? I see what you're trying to do but i dont understand your hate for the H100i. Ive read many reviews and yeah it has some faults but its not like almost every single one is destined to fail!

Because every single time someone is complaining about high temperatures with an H100i, this is the fix for it.  Why should you recommend a product that doesn't work for so many people?  On average, at least once a day someone is complaining about high temperatures, pump noise, or buggy software with their H100i.  Or just two days ago someone was trying to overclock, and their temperatures are spiking like crazy and didn't know why.  I looked in their profile, they have an H100i.  No surprise.  I tell him about the washer mod, hours later he does it and temperatures are back to normal.  That is the fix for it.

I don't hate it, I just don't recommend it.  And when someone does own it, I know what the number one fix for it is.

I should create a word document with the links I send because I am linking them so often.

But I don't really like anything less than 240mm when it comes to AIOs anyway. Because Unless you can't fit a NH-D15, there is no point in going for a AIO. I would recommend the Nepton 280L if you are looking for an AIO

What does that have to do with anything I said?

I agree with you in one of my earlier comments.  240mm is the smallest AIO I would go for on a CPU.
