Anyone have experience with these?

Looking to upgrade my speakers since I'm using ones that are like 8 years old that came with an old emachine. Looking to spend around 100$ and like the idea of having a sub.

These are looking really nice and I saw a few videos of the and like the sound just wondering if anyone has any input on these or something better in the price range.

Thanks,

Don't exaggerate

I was trying to be tactful about the matter. The matter being easily confused with gold plated dog shit.

They're pretty decent, no other set can touch them around that price point.

Can you please explain what you don't like about them?

They are over priced mediocrity. There are much better options from legitimate audio companies.

@EmoRarity Can you name some other sets around that price point that match or beat the Z623?

IMO a mix between the Z2300 and the Z623 would be perfect.

Already named one, another few would be the Swan M10 or Klipsh ProMedia's, for those that have to have a sub. Other diy bookshelves and a Lepia amp. All better choices from legitimate audio companies. Not Logitech's depressingly bad representation of "good" audio.

Because they also make peripherals their audio products are bad? I seriously don't get the hate towards Logitech.

Can you explain what part of the Z623 you dislike? Bass, mid, high, construction quality, component choice, price, connectivity or just the brand?

Their Z2300 was amazing, the z623 made steps forwards, but also backwards.

There are lots of people that prefer the Logitech over the more expensive Klipsch, even though Klipsch is a pure audio brand.

Call Sweex, Trust, etc crap. Logitech isn't, although it may not be your preference.

Speaking as a former owner of a set of Z623, I can say unequivocally that the Z623 is a decent set of 2.1's. I found it pretty good for gaming and watching movies, the sub helps add realism to explosions (both in movies and games) but its weakness (this is a subjective opinion, so take it for what it is) is music playback. I found it rather lacking in detail, mids and highs sound muddied. Mind you, I found it rather decent, but sold it simply because I'm into headphones and headphone dac/amp's now. It doesn't hurt that I have a set of Klipsch PM2.1 which I'm using now. ;)
