Best amd catalyst control center settings.

so theres a lot of settings - what shoud i set? Some options look like they can increase perfromance but decrease visual quality for example texture filtering quality - 3 options performance , standard and high quality. All the options ;
AA mode 

AA samples

Filter

AA method

Morphological filtering

AF mode

AF level

TF qualiy

Surface format optimization

OpenGL triplle buffer

Tesselation mode

Maxium tesselation level.

You can mess around with some settings and see if they work well for you, but most of the stuff is done in the game itself so you don't have to change anything in the driver. I only really use the 3D settings tab if I want to force AA or AF (override game settings), and that's also hit and miss for many games.

leave it on "let application choose settings". It means any game you run will run with the settings that you choose. If you force some settings for games the image can go blurry/lines etc.

Its only with aa. Theres much more options that i dont know what to set.

Just click the default setting.

Leave them alone. Let each individual application handle the settings.

 

It's there so that in special cases you can create a profile and attempt to over-ride the in-game settings. e.g. old games you may want to crank up AA and AF.
