You're not really gonna avoid on screen buttons without buying a Galaxy or One M8.

Nexus 5/6, Xperia Z2/Z3, HTC One M8, OnePlusOne.

GTA SA will really only butter smooth on a S600 or higher, but if you don't like on screen buttons there's not much to choose from as Google is trying to push them forward. Probably the S4/S5 or HTC One M7

Something with a good screen and good speakers i guess. The HTC One M8 features front facing speakers, but with a 5 inch screen. The Oneplus One and the G3 have a 5.5 inch screen, but speakers facing away from you. The OPO has the speaker on the bottom and the G3 is one of those phones where they put it on the back, Linus is always positive about rear facing speakers. The G3 might have a higher resolution, but 1080p is already sharp on a 5.5 inch display. The OPO is the only one with capacitive buttons though.

Xiaomi Mi3/Mi4, OnePlus One, or Galaxy S4/S5, I have got to use these phones and they are beasts. I personally love the size and metal feel of the Xiaomi Mi4 but that's just me. Now if you truely want the best possible gaming experience and don't care about price or size then the new Nexus 6 will be for you.

Depends what game you want to play but if it is just normal high intensity games, then I would suggest the Samsung Galaxy note 3/4 or the LG G3

I'd say note 4, droid turbo (moto maxx), or nexus 6 since they all use the adreno 420 gpu

Dream-phone: USB type-c (3.1), 1440p, 5-inch, removable battery, 32gb RAMdrive, sd card slot, stock Android, transparent atomic purple build, 9050 mah battery, waterproof AF, nuclear powered, ac wifi is fine.
OR a one-of-a-kind iphone that runs Android.
