War Thunder Connection Issues

mopman94

Hi, I am having problems with War Thunder and am at a loss at to what it is as I don't have a problem with any other online games and have a solid connection. When I play the game it works fine for about 10 seconds then once I get into the fighting I am getting 70% packet loss. I have tried it on another PC in my house and have the same problem so it is something to do with the network but I don't know what. I shouldn't think it is a problem with ports because I have uPNP turned on. This is what my connection looks like right now:

This test is to the nearest server (about 30 miles away)

This test is to a server in Frakfurt (about 500 miles as the crow flies)

So as you can see my ping and d/l and u/l speeds should be more than fine for this game, which is why I don't know what is going on.

Any help will be appreciated

Could be the game itself, try a different game, if your still having issues it's your network.

Seems to only be this game. The only other thing I have issues with now and then is watching Youtube videos, they just won't buffer. But I assume that's a problem with Youtube as it does tend to be rather shit most of the time.

yup, YouTube is being stupid right now, I can confirm that. So no problems with your network.

Sometimes War Thunder reads out completely wrong packet loss, if you aren't actually noticing rubberbanding in the game then you're fine.

It happens in certain patches.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

There is no rubber banding but there is about a 30 second delay between shooting someone and the points appearing at the bottom of the screen.

And occasionally someone will crash into the ground and not explode or even appear to ha e crashed. So I suppose actually that is rubber banding.
