corsair 240air gpu size (height)

hey guys,

 

does someone know if a 970 g1 will fit inside that case? technically it shouldn't be able to, because max cpu cooler height is 120mm.

Width wise you're fine, but length wise you're not. 22mm too long.

but how can it be that max cpu height is 120mm, and the g1 with 129mm is okay? but if it's too long then I guess it doesn't matter anyways. Do you know how much mm there is max? I would go with the strix then (280mm/140mm).

The max cpu height is approx 130mm on the Air 240.

okay now that makes sense, german sites never get it right...

 

edit: *inspects the picture* well i bet I could squeeze the g1 in there somehow:D it will just cover up half of the buttom cablehole's opening, ney problem.
