New phone

Axel Sypkens Smit

Hey guys,

My phone contract ends in a couple of months and because I'm a T-mobile subscriber I can get a new phone somewhere around mid october.

I usually go with flagship devices but I don't know wich one, I haven't really heard any exiting rumors lately (apart from the iPhone wich I was considering but I have decided to stick with android).

I am searching for a phone with at least a 4.3 inch an a maximum of 5 inch screen. I am willing to adapt to anything but touchwiz as long as their is android underneath.

I do have a Xperia Z now with a broken screen (and on xperias half the touchscreen doesn't work when it breaks) so I don't really want to wait to long for a good phone to come out. I actually want a htc one m8 but it has been a while since it released so will their be an updated version soon? Otherwise I might buy a Z3.

Am I missing any major phone releases? What would you buy?

btw I live in the Netherlands so not all phones might be available here (yet) (most us phones are also here)

Bye, thanks in advance.

Xx

My vote is for the HTC One M8. It seems to be a popular phone. I don't think you can really go wrong with. It comes in both Windows Phone and Android flavoured. But I know you'd be going for the latter. :D

@Axel Sypkens Smit

BTW, I think you meant "which" not "witch". There is a vast difference between the two. :P

the Z3 compact looks like a decent offering, so maybe check that out. Also, why not have a look at the new moto X. It may be a 5.2" screen, but it is still a very compact phone that runs near stock android.

Yea I like the z3 compact, its the only mini or compact phone with baller specs and the moto x is also really cool indeed, need to feel it though. I am really into the expensive build materials how shallow that may be.

I can agree on the Z3 compact, it might just mix up the "smaller flagship" market quite a bit with any luck.

The Moto X has the ability to use premium materials if you just change the back on it to something like leather/wood, but metal it does not have too much of sadly. It doesn't bother me that much, but I can understand the reasoning behind wanting aluminium etc.

OnePlus One if you can get a invite il be giving away some soon but question is, is 5.5 inches too big and would you want to use a phone this big?
