Shield tablet problem(s) fixed yet?

Anyone know if the Shield Tablet case cracking and bad wifi problems were ever fixed yet? Also, for the non gaming but just general use as well as YouTube videos, how long is its battery life? Thanks!!!!

The LTE version is going to be released on the 30th of September, so i guess is going to be fixed then. 

Nvidia is also promising replacements to all faulty devices, so if you want to you can risk it and get it now.
