Well well well, I was browsing amazon & I happened to stumble upon a brand new 780 from Asus for $439.99 & a 780 Ti from the same company for $589.99.
These seem like eminent price cuts to me in anticipation of Maxwell, hold on to your horses we might even see 290Xs coming down in price  !

Yay prices are dropping! maybe I can get a 760 or 770 for my build rather than a 750 ti!
