Recommend a Budget Color Scanner?

I'm looking for a color Scanner to scan Articles, Documents, School Work, Resumes. I just need it to scan in the image and save it multiple formats Png, Jpeg, Pdf, ect

 

I did do a quick look on amazon.com and found this 

Canon CanoScan iDE110

but I know it is good to ask around and research other options.

 

So is this a decent scanner?

Is there a cheaper alternative?
