Six axis and MGS5...

Hey everyone.

I have a PS3, and I want to get MGS5 (Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain) but I want to know if either of them will/do require six axis, because I don't have a six axis controller at the moment and I dislike the Dualshock 3.

I'd think that neither of them require six axis because they're also on Xbox and PC, but I just thought I'd ask.

Thanks,

Dylan

I played MGS: Ground Zeroes on PS4 and didn't use any movement of the controller, just the analog sticks. You don't need 6Axis, Ground Zeroes doesn't even utilize it

No, you can turn that shit off in most game menus anyway, it was a gimmick feature.

BTW a DualShock 3 contains the Sixaxis functionality, the only difference between the models is the rumble feature.

Yeah, but in some games you can't (such as the last of us). Thanks for the info.

i wouldn't call it a gimmick in that, along with its use in Infamous SS, its pretty cool, the gimmicky implementaions were early PS3 games that had you swinging the controller around for meelee combat
