"LG Confirms it Will Provide an Official Bootloader Unlock"

LG has confirmed that it has plans to provide an official bootloader unlocking solution for those who wish to install custom ROMs and other third-party tweaks on their LG smartphones and tablets. The company warns, however, that “it will take some time.”

I never expected LG to do this....buuuuut it's awesome that they are. This saves all of the people who are going to root and ROM their G3 a bunch of time, and I'm sure that modders and hackers will take advantage of this...somehow... (I dunno how they would, but you never know. >.>)

Either way, good job LG. You did something awesome.

Nice good news for once. And what the you changed your avatar again.

I like this one better. I change them whenever I find one better than the one I'm currently using, no matter how many days (or hours sometimes) I've been using the avatar.

>5%

Pffffffffft, it's a lot more than you think. It's not just the bloatware, it's also LG's shotty Optimus UI. Trust me, I would know. I have the same phone (and model). I have it rooted and ROM'd with SlimKat now. HUGE improvements in performance and battery life.
