Suitable monitor for new build

CaptainRagu

Ive just ordered all the parts for my new build seen here http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/kgggFT but am still debating which monitor to get.

It seems one of the best out there is the ASUS VG248QE http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-monitor-vg248qe which is the front runner. Other ASUS monitors ive considered, like the VS238H-P http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-monitor-vs238hp are much better priced but have such wobbly, weak stands making me debate whether its worth it.

Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on other monitors, or if this monitor is overkill for a build that likely wont break 80fps on any game. I only plan on using 1 monitor so I dont mind spending upwards of 300$ for it.

Both are TN, I would personally grab an ASUS/LG/AOC/Samsung IPS panel

Definitely Dell U2414H. Probably the best monitor in that price range.

I had looked at it briefly but once you add in shipping, taxes and the few dollars for ncix zero dead pixel program, it ends up being 450$+ which is just too much.

The Asus VS239H-P http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-monitor-vs239hp seems to be one of the best priced IPS panels with everything I like, but again it has that damn cheap stand.
