Sleeved cable extension vs psu sleeving job

PSenapus

Hello,

I have a Cooer Master V850
I would like to sleeve the cables but there are so many double-wired connectors that it makes me think it'll take forever to do the job.
The PSU is covered by a shroud, so even just cable extensions will work perfectly.
My question is: do cable extensions have some negative impact to the psu performance?

Efficiency? Anything?
And if so, how much of an impact would that be? >1% or <1%?

Extensions have no negative impact.there is no case big enough on the market that would cause an impact for extentions. The extension length would have to be extremely long before the PSU would be effected by them.

yes, unless you have extremely unreasonably long cable extensions there will be no impact on performance. for example with a 20 gauge wire you would need approximately 100 feet to impose only 1 ohm of resistance, and with a cable extension of say 1 foot that's only .01 ohms of resistance being added to the circuit
