Canon T3i Refurbished

So the Canon T3i (and other cameras) is on their site for $336 right now. Refurbished, of course, but it's "guaranteed" to work and comes with a one year warranty and a lens. Albeit being a standard starter lens, it's still a nice addition.

Thoughts? I personally love the camera, and have used it tons. I think it's a great deal, as opposed to the ~$550-600 you can get it for elsewhere.

I really wish that we'd just make organic hardware already, that grows and adapts to the demands it needs to meet. That way, grannies' computers can be floppy sacks of organicness and the 12 year old Minecrafters will look like the guys that only do bicep curls, and the nerdy programmers will finally have justice, with their body-builder rigs that skipped leg day.

I would get it but be sure you want it  because 336$ is still not a small amount for a refurbished product.

Sorry for bringing up a two day old post but, I just bought a 70-200 f/4 refurb from Canon and it's pretty much brand new. No scratches or blemishes on anything. Probably should hop on that deal if you need a dslr.

This post was actually to serve as a final deciding factor for my girlfriend without too much of a bias. She's wanted one for a long while, and I offered to put $200 forward for her so she could get the camera and have some money left.

A couple people actually messaged me about it. One was telling me that he had gotten a refurb from them, and that it was borderline new aside from an almost unnoticeable scuff on the camera. Another person messaged me saying they bought the camera on the spot, and thanked me for bring it up lol.

She and I have used it before in photography during High School, and I used it for video production, and took several state and national medals using it. So I love it, and she at very least is comfortable with the camera.

She purchased it, yes, and I know people in person that've bought refurbished cameras and lenses from Canon and only one had a poor experience, which they got it replaced no cost. She just needed a final "YES, IT'S A GOOD DEAL."

Hi from across the river :)

Sounds like you already made up your mind, and yeah, refurbs are usually great. (I just wanted to say hi....from across the river..)
