Changing Program locations?

so i just finished building pc and downloaded everythign .. all the programs and realized i downloaded them to my SDD and not my HDD...

i need to do 2 things..

make my hdd named O:\ my storage drive and leave my Sdd named C:\ to be its wonderful self for my operating system

( pretty sure i just gotta change the boot drive in my bios to my sdd ??)

and

is it possible just to transfer my programs from my sdd to my hdd without re-installing them and re-downloading them ?

any videos or easy explanations are welcomed : )

running windows 7 ultimate

I don't think so, unless cloning it but that would be the OS too. The only way I see is to download them again and install them on your HDD unless there's a program out there that can transfer installed program from one storage device to another.

You could try changing the registry using Run > regedit > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion (click on the folder)

You'll see ProgramFilesDir and the (x86) version, change them to the HDD disk name. Although I would not recommend this due to some issues it could cause. If you do change the values then the programs you have installed would not work anymore because you changed the location where the computer looks. 

For the programs you do have already installed you could do what I said above and copy the program files to the HDD program files and see if it works (I doubt it though)
