Take this test/benchmark with a 60hz monitor then with a 120hz monitor

Wondering if 120hz actually makes a difference for gaming, the website says the average reaction time is 215 ms, however you theoretically  only see the green 8ms sooner so it theoritically should not make a big difference judging by the average reaction time however I think the difference(in gaming) is made due to the fact that less tearing/artifacts are created with 120hz monitors, not faster reaction times.

So what is your average reaction time with a 60hz monitor then with a 120hz monitor?

If you use a 120 Hz monitor and compare two objects, one moving at 120 Hz and one at 60 Hz, the 120 Hz ball does appear slightly ahead of the 60 Hz ball. You are literally seeing it move sooner.

This test was hardly double-blind so you can take these results with a grain of salt.

60. I hooked up my CRT, and set it to 85 or 95 (something like that) and I got roughly the same, within margin of error.
