When is GTX 860 coming?

I've been wanting a GTX 760 for a while, but i keep telling myself to wait for 860, it has been a while now and i am getting really impatient.

 

Any idea when this might be coming out?

Didn't they postpone Maxwell to early 2015? (nvm, was actually only for the high-end ones...)

Maxwell has been delayed. Buy the 760 if you either can't be patient or need a GPU right noaw :lol:

I feel that Nvidia are going to ride the powerhouse train for a while. I predict September/October for a new release.

There is no set date for the release. Nvidia hasn't come out to talk about it yet. I'd say between May 2014-June 2015

Why wait for for the 860 when you can wait even longer like a idiot for the 960. Never wait for the next generation unless its like next month just buy whatever on special

Yea I think I saw in Elrics video that TSMC is coming along with the 20nm chips slower than expected, so it's pushed back till later in the year.

I first read that as 680.... But yeah, I expect it to be in the late summer some time. June or July, maybe August.

Expect summer of 2014.

The "news" that said the date was going to be pushed back, was by one site, that was sketchy, and not generally trusted.

There is not official release date op. If you google it you'll find out there is not tba date either...

Please guys, clarify, all that delayed 20nm Maxwell are still rumors(no official word from Nvidia), don't spread it as true. 

 

I don't get the paranoia of some, even the 780 wasn't release by this date last year(May 23), I say wait till summer ends and relax.

Nvidia said they have been delayed, Q4 or next year.

It wouldn't have been delayed till early next year

definitely coming this year, my guess sometime in Q3

Their latest roadmap still shows maxwell for 2014 when the titan-z was announced
