I have the old GX60 and it plays everything i throw at it at max settings without any issues

I would buy a decent Laptop cooler tho . the laptop tends t get hot when playing games for long period of time.

And if you buy it off NCIX , don't forget to use Linus affiliate link to support him

I wouldn't buy any of them. They're all overpriced and have ridiculous short battery life. Not to mention that upgrade possibilities are minimalistic. If you're okay with that because you value portability more, though, no judgment.

  • 2 weeks later...

I have a MSI GT683DXR (2.5 years old) for a while and if you like gaming on a mobileplatform, please go for 17 inch, my previous notebook was 17 inch and that was fantastic for gaming. If you dont mind the extra weight ofcourse.

For a 15 inch gaming notebook I adore the Lenovo Y510p with its SLI setup, manufactures should this more often.

MSI GX-70 should do the trick for a 17 inch.

i think they have a specific place in the gaming world, there not something you would use on a plane, but say you go on a 1 week trip and you want to game at the hotel, what are you going to do, lug your desktop around. thats just my opinion they have a need and want

Ergo, if you value portability.
