Usps is run by idiots. I ordered a microphone from Norwich NY. This is like 6 hours away. The seller decided to add 1-day priority mail. It shipped Monday and was gonna come Tuesday. Didn't come. Didn't get here Wednesday. Maybe will get here today. It would be less sad if it wasn't 1-day shipping.

I ordered something on Amazon the 28th of last month and I'm suppose to get it today. Not USPS fault, but Fedex and Amazon's (and a bit for me being cheap since I got free shipping)

I ordered a wireless PCI adapter from Newegg once and it was held in a ware house like 15 min away from me for 4 days which was kinda annoying cause I could have just driven there and I needed that card. However I can't really insult Newegg's choice of shipping cause there have been multiple tomes when I ordered something with 4-7 day shipping and had it arrive the next day.

Yeah probably that. I hate them.

I just hate the long wait times, probably since it's holiday season and since I got free shipping it was not high on their priority list. If it was on the off season I probably would get it in about a week.

Doesn't sound very abnormal to me. The finnish post takes 3 days to deliver something from a town that is 30km from my house. 

But I don't have a car so I'll just wait

3 days? That's fast compared to ours. I live in a small town (or maybe term 'village' is better) that's right in Finnish national road 4's (or ''nelostie'') way, but no matter how fast delivery option is chosen, it will take at least 1 week. Luckily it only stretches to about 3 weeks at max.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.

Yea, I've heard that it's worse in some places. But here's there is pretty much no excuse here, it's an decent sized town(10 000 inhabitants)  and it's right next to the Turku-Helsinki motorway. I could use a bicycle and fetch stuff faster from Turku. It's insane

Still miles better than DHL. A while ago I ordered 2 items at the same time, one from Florida, and one from Tennessee. The one from Florida was shipped by USPS and the one from Tennessee was shipped by DHL. The Florida package got here 3 days before the package from Tennessee. Keep in mind that I live in Missouri, and the city the package was coming from in Tennessee is only a 4 hour drive from me. Oh and both of the packages were similar sizes, very small.

And I understand that. Yes buffalo got hammered Tuesday. I thought under the circumstances they get an extra day.

There was a two day delay in many places. My ups delivery and fedex shipment both got delayed by two days.

I find it funny when Americans complain about gas prices and their postal service. Try to live in our shoes: Canadapost Xpresspost 1-2 day guaranteed delivery on $450 headphones...no weather issues...not the holidays...no explainable delays...took 4 days to arrive. The 2nd worst part was that I had to have someone wait at home to sign for it, waiting 4 days. The worst part was the unreasonable prick seller who said it was "acceptable" and OK, refusing to file for a refund on the shipping charge (to which the customer is entitled). He's not responsible for Canadapost's incompetence, but he is a douche for not giving a crap about the inconvenience caused for me.

 

So I filed it for him because he was being a pratt. He got pissed off, declaring "how DARE you!" I told the moron to donate the $40 to charity, but he sent the check to me --which I wouldn't even be able to deposit since it's in HIS name. Wasted postage and time mailing it back to him. He likely threw it away, allowing Canadapost to continue their horrible service unpunished. 

 

Trust us. USPS is awesome compared to what we got up here!

the you choose smart post or the other option dont pay extra unless its 3 days or better guarenteed. USPS priority is now 2 day guaranteed as well.

Then go through ebay or paypal of which I assume you used one of them. But yes I have had that issue before I sold something it go wrecked in the mail and they wanted their money and my refund policy was I needed the item back working or not (for good reason) but he refused to ship it back to me and left me bad feedback.

Im not sayingleave bed feedback im saying go through paypal or ebay since it was guaranteed shipping. the last but was just me noting a experience I had with a stupid person on ebay.
