You can call it SLI because really it's just SLI... NVlink is still Quadro solution only.

 

It doesn't matter which one you go with in reality, furthermore upload images on imgur and post the link here in order to embed the imaged directly, nobody feels like downloading random stuff from strangers on sketchy formats like HEIC that can contain malicious coding within it.

Embed a jpeg onto this site. Don't use 3rd party sites which are often little more than ad delivery systems.

 

As for slots, it looks like nvidia count how many slots you move over. In pics of the mobo, assuming you want to put two cards in 1st and 4th, that would mean you need to go 3 over, for 3-slot. For reference see:
