HY, i just bought this Samsung C24FG73 144Hz but i cand reach more then 120Hz, why ? i tried uninstalling Nvidia but nothing, is it because my Video card cant reach the 144p? i got a Strix 1060Oc 6GB

Did you use HDMI or Display port and which gen of these ? If you card can deliver 144 frames depends on in which resolution and game. CS:GO maybe newest what ever game probably not or only with bad graphics. Also its a question if your CPU might be a bottleneck in delivering 144 frames per second.

HDMI. my gpu usually gives me more then 144Fps but i cant set the monitor to 144hz. i went into option menu and nothing. Cpu I5 6600K! 3.9GHZ 

the thing is even in the dextop i onli have 120HZ on the monitor

Does your PC have HDMI 1.3 or higher? I assume yes but not sure.

 

This monitor is supposed to support 144hz over HDMI 1.3 or better so something seems odd for sure.

the monitor shows me onli 1.1 and 1.3. 

i think my gpu should  have 1.3 since it get to 4K

Solved. it was the HDMI. I switched it whit the display port and now i have 144hz... insane. i didnt know that display port are better..... lol
