Rumors about Navi +

I heard the rumors about navi+ too bad it's not gonna be ready till end of 2019 but to only be able to match or be slower then a 2070 isn't really considered high end a vega 64 is already around that pace. 

AMD should try to aim higher like a 2080 at least, and knowing amd's power consumption 400-500w double 8pins or more I hope the cooling will be sufficient and not burst into flames like evga.

I know amd announced navi will come between March and June navi + around November and December

I think it was a custom EVGA board, so I would put more blame on them, but most 2080 ti's have been having issues

Either way I hope they make something at least at 2080 level

If theres one thing ive learned its that AMD is always a day late and a dollar short when it comes to gpu’s. The reality never matches the hype. 

 

You have to go back to the r9 290x to find the last time AMD really delivered, and even then they screwed up the launch with a horrible stock blower cooler that throttled performance and sounded like a leaf blower under load. It wasnt until the after market coolers came out that it really shined. 

 

Im hoping for the best, but i would expect delays and less than rumored performance in the end. 

 

Maybe theyll surprise us like they did with ryzen. One thing different this time is its 7nm, giving them an advantage.
