Hello there,
I bought my current PC almost 3 years ago, but I would like to upgrade some parts (upcoming black friday sales). Note that I have been hitting very high temperatures while gaming (80-90s) and I'm not sure why, is it that a part can't keep up with the rest? or do I just have a bad fan? If you have any questions regarding my specs or anything that I didn't post (I downloaded speccy and just copy pasted) please let me know.

Here are my current specs (nothing open):

What is hitting 80-90c? Also what is the question you want answered as I am having a hard time figuring out what you want help with.

Thanks for your reply,

Both my CPU and GPU are hitting those temperatures. Why is my PC hitting those temperatures while gaming and what can I upgrade to both fix that and improve the performance of my PC?

Is this a recent occurrence or something that has been a long standing issue? It could be that you need to reapply thermal paste as this usually needs to be done as things get older.

This has been happening for a couple months now, I guess I might just have to replace the thermal paste as it might have worn off after all those years. I will probably buy a tube of some sort and look up a video explaining on how to do it, thanks anyway.

Yeah the cpu should be easy but the gpu will be the harder one. You could always upgrade the gpu if you wanted to avoid this or simply live with the temps.
