I don't really know if I'm posting this to the right place, but here goes.

I am going to be building my first enthusiast gaming computer, and although I have an understanding of computers, as well as building them, the upper echelon of computer parts kinda escapes my knowledge. I made a general list of where I'm at right now on PCPartPicker, and I was wondering if I could get some feedback.

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Tastybird/saved/#view=sCy9Jx

Concerns:

-Above all else, this is meant to be a primo computer. Money (at least right now) is not of concern, so if the build I have listed isn't the best it could be, any suggestions for improvements are appreciated.

-I know next to nothing about liquid cooling, so I put what seemed to be a very good AIO system on the list, but I am not sure if liquid cooling is right for me, and if it is, if that AIO will be compatible and will have everything I'll need. If I shouldn't go liquid cooling, what would be some good fan choices?

-The case looks very nice, but I don't know if the looks are offset by the downsides. Should I get an open frame case? How much more dust can I expect compared to a regular, closed case? What are some other concerns?

-It would seem as though everything is compatible, but a second opinion never hurts.

-Though this certainly isn't an absolute necessity, I am partial to RGB lighting. I tried to include it in as many parts as tastefully possible, but if there are any other nice lighting touches, I would like to at least look into them.

-In terms of a monitor, I would like to have at least 144Hz and 2560 x 1440 resolution. This new monitor is to support the new computer power, and I already have two, lower quality monitors. The monitor I listed is pretty much a placeholder, it just seemed nice. If that is not a good choice of monitor, what would be better?

Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

You dont need 32GB of ram if your just gaming, remove one kit, That case is not a good case for regular use its a test bench style case. I would look into a Asus Rog Strix 1080ti Used, or a MSI Duke/TrioX, or EVGA FTW3 for around 500$. That CPU cooler is fine, although id buy the Corsair H150i Pro for the same price, or if you want a overall better value for pretty identical performance, EVGA CLC 280.

Do note there are newer CPUs and GPUs, both of the listed ones are last gen (but still quite relevant). Also the AIO is mostly for looks, if you chose to go with the NH-D15 you could save some cash, have a slightly better cooler, and not have to worry about the pump dying in 2 to 5 years.

1. There's no storage drives

2. Liquid cooler itself looks better than just a stack of Aluminium fins on the CPU. I mean, unless you go custom loop, watercooling don't beat air cooling by all that much (if at all).

3. Motherboard. Asus boards are overrated, they are electrically underwhelming. What saves them is the noob-friendly BIOS and RGB support (as well as fame). Electrically the Asrock Z370 Extreme4 is already good enough to handle the 8700k, but for the sake of looks I'd choose the Gigabyte Z390 arouse elite instead.

4. The orange strips on the graphics card can hurt the RGB colouring a bit. I would prefer the Aorus 1080ti (wth an X shaped RGB strip) instead since the P3 case puts the graphics card upright, fans facing the side of the case.

I presumed I could just use the 1TB hardrive Im currently using, so as to keep all my files and whatnot. Would that be ok?

no SSD? That's a sin for a system this expensive (or even one that's a quarter the price).
