PC running a lot louder than before

Hey all. 

 

My PC has been running a whole lot louder than it used to. The main thing that seems weird to me is that my CPU cooler fan will speed up and down randomly even when just doing normal tasks. The 6600k runs a little warm (probably because of the OC), but it's nothing dangerous. It idles in the mid 30s, and never even hits 70 under load. I don't believe I changed the fan curve or anything, so why would this be happening? 

 

Also, the system as a whole just seems to be louder under load. It's not getting any hotter than before, just louder. anyone have ideas??

There isn't any to be seen. just a tiny bit on the outside of the filters, which I have already cleaned out.

Also, you could probably lower your voltage. 1.33 for only 4.4 GHz on a quad core seems excessive

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

ooh good point. It's a Cryorig H7. the 1.33 does seem excessive.... but thats the only way i could get it stable at 4.4. I had it at 1.29 stable or something before, but after a BIOS update, it needed more voltage. I've thought about taking back to the previous  version and seeing if I could recreate that lower voltage requirement.

Have you tried attaching the Cryorig fan elsewhere and using a different fan with your cooler to see if it's fan behavior or motherboard behavior?

Should I try the optional cpu fan header? it'd need to be connected to something that will react to CPU temps right?
