Suggestions for good RGB strip?

I want a RGB LED strip behind my desk and around my room, I want to control that strip from with my PC.

I'm using the MSI Z370M MORTAR motherboard.

 

The strip has to be around 5 meters, and I have to cut it and connect it with some extra wires.

 

Any suggestions what kind of RGB strip I should use?

My Mobo doesn't support A-RGB.

A generic led strip is mostly with a remote, but I want to control it with my PC.
