Conductonaut made no difference

Hi guys

My components are

Corsair obsidian 500d 

Gigabyte z390 aorus master

Evga g2 gold 650w supernova 

Samsung 970 pro 512gb 

2400mhz 2x16 15-15-15-35 ripjaws v

Evga clc 280

 

My Temps are...... The same. Should I delid again and apply more conductonaut? 

 

Oops, my cpu is an 8700k and I also have a rog strix 1080 ti oc

What are your temps and what cooler are you using?

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

did you apply conductonaut to the CPU DIE and IHS? if not try that.

Your Idle temps isn't what should change! It should only really affect your maximum temps. So please tell me you ran a stress before delid and recorded that temp along with the ambient temp, then that you ran it again after delid recording the max temp of your cpu and the ambient again.

If so THOSE are the numbers we need.
