Prebuilt still safe to use?

I opened up my acer aspire and I inspected it. After I screwed back the side panel and plugged my cord that came with the psu in. When i pushed it in I saw a little spark. Is it still safe to use? I haven’t turned it on since.

Yeah safe to open. It's either that spark has ruined the entire motherboard or nothing happened. But there is no risk of "breaking" something if you turn it on.

 

Just turn it on and hope for the best. It should be working fine.
