[Discussion] AI Tech used on china's News Anchor

Like the title says this is a Discussion on how AI Technology is advancing to the point, in this case china state media might end up using it more often to the point that one will not notice,if its the real person or just the AI.

Note: In the video only the mouth was edit according to the verge article.

 

What do you think will end up happening within the next few years. If this starts to become the trend in media and entertainment industry ?

I disagree, it's lightyears ahead of the old text to speech programs. It's on the verge of sounding "normal".

 

I find it funny that it has a a Chinese accent, but only for certain words ("Uninterrupted")
