How good is "Amnesia - A Machine For Pigs"?

Alterlai
Go to solution Solved by Hans Christian | Teri,

To expand on my earlier statement: The atmosphere is still great, but it is so linear it feels almost like a guided tour and that really takes a lot away from the game. It's not worth €8 in my opinion.

As probably many of you have seen, the new amnesia game is on steam sale. I'm just wondering how good it actually is.

I've seen many differnt experiences on MetaCritic.

Is this game worth buying?

Nowhere near as good as the original. If you haven't played the original get that, if you have you're better off just playing that again. :(

I have played the original so that's the reason i'm curious about it's sequel.

Hmm i'm not sure if this is really worth my time. If the atmosphere in a horror game isn't good, it's not a good experience overall.
