New Speakers/Headset

Go to solution Solved by EmoRarity,

Go for it, price isn't that bad, though I would try for the A2's first, and if the shipping doesn't work out go for the Behringer's

What is your budget?

Edit: Ninja'd

Edit 2: You could get something like the Corsair SP2500. They are some pretty good speakers.

Something like the Altec Lansing MX6021 are also a great pair of speakers (If you can find any for sale)

On a tighter budget the Logitech Z323 are a great choice.

Let's say a budget of about 250$, maybe 300$ if you have some good arguments. ^^

The SP2500 look good, and a reasonably price. Any reason to go for the 5.1 version?

If you want and can setup a 5.1 surround. Personally I wouldn't bother with a surroundsound setup with a PC.

I had a 5.1 speaker setup, but all they did is take up more space and there wasn't a huge benefit from them (rear speakers). I'd just stick with the 2.1

I was very impressed with them (For what little time I had with them). Whether or not they are worth is probably up to you. .

I think the Steelseries Siberia Elite is as good as it gets and is around that price IIRC

Well, you could grab a set of A2+'s from Audioengine (A legitimate audio company unlike Corsair) that will walk all over 25k's.

As for headphones, dunno, whats your use case?

mostly listen to eminem (rap) and Hollywood Undead (rap/rock/rapcore'ish) And gaming.

EDIT: looks like audioengine isn't available in Switzerland. :(

WS77's may tickle your pickle, but a warning, they aren't the best built option and comfort is a hit or miss.

Which leaves the Crossfade LP, not the LP2, fixes those problems.

In the review of the Speakers it says I should use the USB connection  to use the internal DAC instead of my MB soundcard. How exactly does this work? Just connect it to the pc with USB?
