Overheating problems

My friend bought an Asus maximus VIII hero, and today we built the pc. Specs: i5-6402p, gtx 960, 8gb ddr4 ram. When we fire it up and go into BIOS the CPU temperature CPU core voltage and motherboard temperature show N/A and after like 5-10 seconds it shows a pretty big number. We use a stock cooler, no overclocks anywhere. When we are in Windows and try to run Pubg it starts, and when the match starts it crashes and reboots. When we want to change the windows login password the screen goes black, everything works, no error codes or such and we need to restart. What to do now?

Redo the thermal paste ?

If mobo temps are out of control it might just be a malfunctioning one

Already redid the tp, it kinda worked, the screen doesn't turn black from now on

CPU voltage at 1.232V looks reasonable.

I can see the CPU fan is also running at 100%.

You have already re-done the thermal paste.

 

Next step is to make sure the CPU cooler is PROPERLY mounted.

The stock Intel cooler uses 4 push pins.

I read this thread and didn't comment - I completely forgot about checking the mount - nice catch.  Bet you got it
