i'm ganna build the best pc my specs are msi meg z390 godlike motherboard,ddr4 3200 mhz g.skill trident z rgb 32 gb ram,a intel core i9 9900k,nvidia rtx 2080 ti 11gb gddr6,samsung 970 pro nvme m.2 ssd 2x 1tb,corsair hydro series h100i pro rgb cooler,my fans are couger vertex rgb fans 3x,and my case is mastercase h500p and please what power supply i need??

An EVGA G2 650W should do

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

Go for 650W at least, good options are the SeaSonic FOCUS Plus 650W Gold, EVGA 650W G2, or Corsair RM650x. If it was my build I'd get something like the SeaSonic FOCUS Plus 750W Platinum or the EVGA 750W P2 since you clearly are going for high-end components might as well go for a high-end premium PSU.

If you spending 500$ on a mobo, go for the EVGA 850 T2.

i smell a shitpost. 2x1tb 970 pro is like 800$+, a 500$ mobo, etc.

650W will be enough yes. Use PC Part Picker it will let you know what PSU is compatible Once you select all your parts. So 750W is more than enough. No need to get 850W.  https://pcpartpicker.com/list/

 

 

I have had my EVGA 750W P2 for like 3 years now and it's been running perfectly. It also has 10 years of warranty so you can be confident in using it for a long time. A PSU is a great way to future-proof, if you buy a quality unit you can keep it over the course of many upgrades. I recently also got the EVGA 850W P2 on a great deal.
