CAD design assistance

Im trying to get a cad design of a ps4 controller but what i would need isnt online anywhere with what im needing. So i was curious is there was anyone who was good with cad could help me out?

that model is of a PS3 controller i already looked at that one, and the other one that grabcad has doesnt have the screw post inside that i would need

Yeah, well nobody is going to spend 20 hours making a super accurate model for free, so use the closest thing or make it yourself.

I don't think you understand how long it takes to make something that has oddly shaped curved surfaces.

I wasnt expecting it to be free XD i was gonna pay them for helping

That would be like $30hr * 20h so about $600.

Someone more experienced could probably do it in 5-10h but that would cost more per hour, and also you need to provide the detailed cad drawings in order for an accurate model to be made, I'm not sure sony would give those to you.

 

Another option is to buy the real thing and get a company to do a 3d scan of it and import it into a model, that would also cost several hundred dollars because you still need someone to make the model properly out of the point cloud.

 

Are you sure you would pay that much for a 3d model?
