XPS 13 heating and cursor issues

So I just recieved my XPS 13 (I5-8250U, 8GB, 256GB, 1080p) 9370 yesterday and I noticed a problem with the mouse not so much lagging but stuttering and jumping whenever I move it. I've also noticed that this issue only occurs after using the laptop for a duration of time, not always When it is first turned on it is nice and smooth but under some circumstance (either some certain app or what I am about to talk about next) it becomes more stuttery. I think this is linked to the fact that my idle temps of the laptop are hovering around 45-55 degrees, if im lucky 40 at tops (or should I say lowest). I've never owned a laptop before but surely this is too high when IDLE. I dont do anythig intensive on the laptop, I only casually browse and watch videos for now. I've attempted undervolting to minimal success and repasting is a last option.

Thanks for the help

It's NORMAL. KBL-R runs hot. Not related to the shuttery issue I would say

Heard this issue before. Since everything is up to date, RMA then. No choice
