thank you. i´m planning to upgrade in the near future to something with more power but i am currently undecided if i should chose an 9900k or the 9920x. I think for gaming the 9900k whould be the better choice, but at 1440p the cpu isn´t so much the bottleneck so the 9920x could be more futureproof?

wouldn't touch x299 with a barge poll, its crap. 9900k is a much better choice.
