Displayport versions are based on the physical connector in a monitor and GPU, not in the cable you use.

cables are generally the same, but there are a few high quality ones that are rated at a certain resolution  and color debt. as long as you arent doing 15m cables any mid range cable is fine.

 

they all use the same Displayport standard
