Best gaming processor interms of performance

Which one should I choose between I7-8700k or 8086k or 9700k for gaming and overclocking

If you look PURELY at raw performance the 9700k is the best. But for gaming I would go with the 8700k.

depends on the game. If you can use the 2 extra cores the 9900k is obviously better but will have a harder time with keeping temps in check compared to a 8700k.
In a world with not budgets or limitations get the 9900k.
Anywhere else the 8700k makes a lot of sense. Tell us more about the scenario.

9700k should be best, not sure the 9900k really buys you any more in this use case.

 

8086k and 8700k are practically the same but for OC the 8086k could have a slight edge. Silicon Lottery results, last time I looked, suggest it gets you 100 MHz more on average.

My concern is the temp bro so even I m thinking for best liquid cooling for this processor which can minimize the temp.  My friend say nzxt kracken x62 will be a good choice so I'm not sure To go with it. So I m doing some research. If u guys know better cooling system let me know.
