Using LTE and ethernet connection at the same time.

pakedskeezer

Hi.

I work as a field technician and use my laptop to connect to BMS controllers. When I test points around new buildings I usually use my phone to remote access my laptop.

My problem is when I use my LTE internet connection built into the laptop (a fujitsu celsius h730 running Windows 10), and then connect the ethernet cable to a controller I lose my LTE internet connection, even tho there is no internet connection in the controller. (It doesn't seem to matter what I connect to the ethernet interface, it's just disconnecting the LTE.)

I have tried to use the network cards metric setting, but this just seems to prioritize which connection should be active.

I want to know if it's possible to use a ethernet connection, and keep being connected with LTE?

Thank you.
